New York is truly the greatest city in the world. It is a place where people from all over the world come together for all sorts of reasons. It is a place with a history that’s both glorious and tragic. It is a place with incomparable sights and sounds.
Speaking of sights, let’s take a gander at some of the loveliest places in the Big Apple.
Empire State Building
Is any other building in New York more iconic than the Empire State Building? The observation deck of the Empire State Building allows a 360-degree view, which is outstanding, and for some, a bit overwhelming. This is probably the most popular building in all of New York, having been featured in movies throughout the years.
The Rock
A little less ominous than Alcatraz, NY’s rock is 30 Rockefeller Plaza. While the building itself is an architectural marvel, it’s the observation deck that deserves the applause. The sunsets from the deck are to die for.
Brooklyn Bridge
We had to include a bridge. And for our money, the Brooklyn Bridge is the bridge to visit if it’s your first time in New York. The walk from Brooklyn to Manhattan alone is enough to leave you awestruck. Plus, it’s an entirely different experience, walking through the bridge at different times of the day.
